                                   WW2 HONOUR BOARDS

PROSPECT DISTRICT PERSONNEL HONOUR BOARDS

Located at the Air Raid Shelter, Willcox Avenue, Prospect, the eight panels, with over 3000 names, commemorate the  Prospect District personnel who served during WW2. Two hundred and twenty three were women and one hundred and forty eight (highlighted in bold) died in Service.
Click here for a list of names.

These boards replace the original WW2 Honour Boards, that were originally located outside the Prospect Town Hall, but dismantled in 1953.
This project was generously funded by the City of Prospect and launched by Mayor David O’Loughlin in September 2019.
The boards were designed and made by Richard Browning, Synthetic Creative Services.
