OUR STORY

The Friends of Prospect Library Inc  was formed around 1990 to support the public library run by the City of Prospect in South Australia. Over the years our activities have changed but have included fundraising, author talks, public events, supporting children's writing competitions, volunteering in the library and community consultation.

Friends of Prospect Library contributed $10.000 towards the Emu Feathers mural by artist, Elizabeth Close, in the Library children's area called Kardi Wardli or Emu House in the Kaurna language.

We donated $250  towards the cost of prizes for the  Prospect Library 2021 Children Writing Competition.
