Charles Cane worked for the City of Prospect for 50 years, including nearly 30 years as the Town Clerk. During his long tenure he gathered together a large amount of information about the City’s history and development, including interviews with ‘Old Timers.’ We are pleased to place this publication before the public. As a bonus we’ve included his Final Report to the Council which he delivered at his retirement dinner in 1950. This reviews how much the place had changed since he began working for the Council.
